Just a little ceramic information to share as a potter. Vitrified simply means the clay has become glass like by being fired to its proper maturing temperature. Usually ceramic tile means it is a lower temperature clay like earthenware or terra cotta. Porcelain is fired to the highest temperature and is more vitrified if you will. This usually means it is less porous to to absorb water and harder. Low fired ceramics with glazes much darker or lighter than the clay body will show chips easier. Rectified has to do with making the edges precise enough to fit smoothly together for less grout lines. So porcelain cost more to produce but it is more sturdy. All clay tiles should be vitrified.

I have a similar issue, i have 3 feet wide & 10 feet long balcony attached to the dining area. It is more like a standing balcony, i plan on adding greenery, and decorate it with some terracotta stuff, pebbles & make it look like an attached conservatory to the dining. My problem is, it is way too narrow a balcony and i want to design it aesthetically. I also plan on adding glass sliding doors and cover the roof top & sides of the balcony with the glass, add some color to the walls to give it a conservatory look. Again, safety is an issue. I need to know if this is feasible and will look good. It is currently under construction. Any ideas & suggestions are welcome!

Hello Houzzers! After a hectic day's job, we all need (and crave) to have a good night's sleep... don't we? The designer/architect must have helped you in setting up the layout, the wall colours, temperature control etc. for a comfortable experience. But what extra do you do to create your own personal bedroom retreat that makes you feel cosy and calm? I cannot go to sleep in a cluttered bedroom. I choose cleanliness over everything. Hi Farooq, you should go for wall paneling on that wall with a concealed door. The wardrobe can be a part of the unit in front.
