Try doing some bubble diagrams to get a feel for what types of spaces you need to design. You don't necessarily have to know what they are going to look like yet. Just get a feel for what needs to be accounted for and programmed (i.e. number of rooms, lobby space, laundry room, housekeeping space, front of house, back of house, etc.) Next, I'm not sure what your concepts are or what year you're in, but try keeping the form simple if you're having trouble with it physically. If you have problems sketching ideas out, take what you think is your strongest concept and build some sketch models out of chipboard or something cheap and that you can work with quickly. This helped me out tremendously when I was in school. Remember that the site and context of the project should always be in the back of your mind when thinking about the concept for your design. Is it located in a city or the country? Does it overlook a lake or body of water? Does it sit on a hill or is the site flat? These are some of the questions to think about that could impact your design. Finally, nobody is going to really be able to tell you exactly what to do. Many architects have differing opinions, philosophies, and styles when it comes to design; so there isn't going to be a "right" answer. Whatever you decide to come up with, make sure you believe in it, and pursue it with passion! Hope this helps you out a little bit and best of luck!...See Moreheyy guys i m designing an office n i need pictures of partitions n ol d pics related 2 office
Comments (3)Need more info. You are asking for old pics - so what epoch are you trying to echo? There are open plan partitions and there are closed plan? Office design really took off in the 1960s (watch Mad Men) and then developed and evolved from then......See MoreHow do I redecorate this living room?
Comments (14)Love the armless sofa-bench! Try using it in the center as a "cross-linking" piece between the sofa and chairs. That way people can sit on both sides of it, conversing with the sofa people and the chair people. Put the chairs where it is and use the side table from the left of the pic, or the one with flowers, between them. You'll need one huge rug to anchor the space or two smaller, and very similar ones, to put on either side of the blue sofa-bench. The other two side tables are too tall and too short for your seating pieces, so ditch them. Use your coffee table between the sofa and armless sofa (18" away from each of them.) Here's a chart for judging table and lamp heights as you'll need to work on that for balance. Please try this arrangement, and post by commenting and using the Attach Images button to add pix of the update. We'll tweak it on out from there....See MoreMy kitchen is only11x11feet,how do I plan the cabinets .is it possible
Comments (3)What do you need to store in the kitchen proper? You already have crockery storage and food storage elsewhere. Just tally what you actually need to store and provide space for that. You may not need all built-in cabinets; shelves, hooks, or pegboards may do as well. And yes, the utility room is very tight....it look like just a 24 in (600 mm) wide passage? I'd scrap the sink rather than squeeze it in so tight. Do you really need separate spaces for utility, kitchen and store? If you combined these all and planned them carefully, you could have a large, very functional kitchen, at least by US standards. (Not being familiar with exact kitchen norms in India, I can't fully comment on the tradeoffs.)...See More86redvette
