Please forgive my comments if they are not applicable as it is difficult to read the plans from my computer and I am unable to enlarge them. I live in America so I recognize the difference in cultures but just a few things you may want to consider: The kitchen appears to have windows that have a view to nothing significant, whereas if it was on the opposite side of the house, the views would be of the lovely garden. Also, the kitchen appears a distance from the garage, where the grocery/shopping items would be carried in from. I believe a better location would be somewhere closer to the garage with easier access to transport items. Another consideration is the idea we call a "Great Room"--whereby the kitchen is open & next to the living room. This is a beautiful layout conducive to ongoing conversation with guests & family members alike and much prefered to cooking in a room alone, separated from loved ones. Since the house is multiple levels, I would recommend placing the laundry room (washer/dryer) on the level with the most bedrooms. This allows for ease of accessibility vs. up/down multiple stairs to transport dirty/clean clothes. Best wishes to you! Yogender Sharma To make a grass cover, the first thing you will need to ensure if whether the structure of the half basement is capable to holding a green roof. The next would be to waterproof the top again, keeping in mind the soil and the constant contact with water. Once these things are done, you need to locate were it is you want the lawn and ensure you have access to a drainage within or at best near it the area. You will then require the services of a horticulturist to help you set up the lawn. In terms of cost, it really depends on quite a few factors Existing condition of the structure Location Quality of Horticulturist Type of Green Cover etc....

Hi Bharath, These designs - no offence - but look a little boring. The design behind the TV, the yellow room with spots of blue and white all look a little too colourful or misfit. Also, there is nothing "new" about them. Any other options ? The light brown shade of the upper cupboards is what is making the wardrobes look boring and old. The blue and white shelves combination isn't matching the yellow wall, the brown texture behind the TV and sadly not the purple shelves. Think of it for yourself. If you want to have that yellow in the room with colours, the main recommendation would be to skip that violet indigo coloured shelf - its too loud. How about these colour combination for that room ? If its too 'dull' for you and you would rather like it we can work our way around that too. Hi Anamika, I have the following suggestions: Change your curtains. You can order some beautiful curtain sets from "Yellow dwelling" according to your budget. IMO, the red oxide is a beautiful traditional floor which has a nostalgia factor as these are extremely rare these days. You can dress up your floor with a nice kilim rug/carpet. But for that you'll have to check some options online as they're a bit pricey Also, TBH your room needs a major decluttering process as that's the cheapest way to give your room a "makeover". Change your bedcovers too. Get rid of those tacky stickers from your furniture. Order some classy table lamps or floor lamps from IKEA (budget friendly) and you're good to go. Not sure if applying a fresh coat of paint would be within your budget but that would work wonders for this room. Hope this helps. Cheers! A
