There is room for an island if you don't require an eat-in kitchen. Personally I would switch the kitchen and the drawing room to allow some shared daylight for the dining room which isn't the best as there are circulation around it all all 4 sides.

I'd open it above like a 'pass-through' and bring the table out in front of it with a bench under the opening.

Hi Bala, There are lots of concepts to go into designing of a kitchen. Do you like traditional, modern or do have anything specific in mind that you can convey? Regarding RCC staircase, firstly I'd like to know whether the construction has been started or not? According to the elevation, we can go for the designing of a staircase that merges with the elevation and not just feels like an odd element out. Hope you understand. Shahrukh, Of the 2 the one on the left looks better. Within that, we would suggest you to swap the hob and sink place for practical reasons. Sink is ideally better in a corner, in the centre of the cooking slad it would create a messy wet area. We would also advise you to re-plan your 2 baths, they look really weird.
