Wow, that's an ugly solution for wiring. I'm so sorry for you that it hasn't been done in a nicer way. Boxing it in would do the job, but you're not allowed to drill the walls. Was this done through or by your landlord/lady? I would talk to them and perhaps they will allow you to box it in. This looks horrible. Otherwise painting it white would probably be the best solution. Good luck.

Hi, softyjane. You have a very pretty sheet set, and seem to like pink, so let's begin with a fresh coat of pink on all four walls. If someone can build you a little shelf to sit in the window, you could paint a basket, too, and put all your small items in it. Your food tray would make a nice picture background in the window. Then, some hooks on the right wall to hang your bags from will make things a bit roomier. White trim at the window will make it seem bigger, as well. If someone can do carpentry work for you, then you can create even more space by raising your bed high and making a loft bed with it. then you will have room below to put whatever you like - a chair, a desk, shelves - and place a curtain or bead strands in front for privacy. Hi Palak, -first thing you can do to is use white color as much as possible along with some pastel and neutral color. -second utilize the space efficiently by creating multi functional furniture. Vertical surfaces, walls are very good way to provide additional storage for the same when you have less floor area. Sharing few images below- more white with balanced color palette, don't use dark colors. Workstation/study merges with wardrobe, full height storage units, lots of shelves on tv wall provide ample space for storage and display.
