Granite is anytime the best option but dont have good options for it in my city.... Comparing to composite marble is it a good option.. Does it have the same strength and what about maintenance?
Hi Shivangi, you should definitely not use composite marble for kitchen platform and opt for quartz or granite. Composite marbles are nothing but artificial marbles created by putting marble dust and chips under high pressure. Composite marbles and regular marbles have tendency to absorb stains and oils and hence this would spoil your kitchen platform as Indian kitchens have lots of usage of oils and masalas. On the other hand, quartz and granites are hard materials and do not allow penetration of any substances and hence they can be maintained easily. Also, effect of heat plays an important role. Composite marbles may crack when exposed to heat while granites and quartz are hard enough and can sustain. Composite marbles are fairly good for window frames and vanity counters.
Thank You for your response.. And yes from other research also this is the same thing I got to know... Composite marbles are not good for surafces where there is lot of usage..
How should I bring some life and spunk in this room?
