Any suggestions on how can I make this empty space more attractive

Hi Ms. Kabita

If you want this space to be part of your formal dining room, I would suggest a console, large mirror and a rug. If the space permits you can add two armchairs with a small center table.

But if you want this space to be separate from your dining space and want a casual feel to it, then I would suggest a standalone jhoola, a floor lamp and low height cabinets.

Let me know your choice.

Jayme is correct - unless you find a long vertical piece to place next to the bar, I would center it and use the negative space as part of the decoration. Of course add a great mirror or picture above the bar. A carpet in front would warm it up. Looking at the sheen on the wood I suspect this is very polished - you can emphasise the art deco feel by adding lots of silverware (silver tray, cocktail shaker, ice bucket) and crystal glasses - tumblers and highballs in cut glass below a large mirror with a dark wood frame similar to the wood in the bar

Hi Nikita, First and farmost, you have very beautifull coushion on sofa, from where you buy it? You can check the videos of Small budget Big makover first session series in youtube. In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. Hello Rohung, I don't understand why do you need the breakfast table as the dining table is just placed next to your breakfast table. My suggestion would be to go for a bigger dining table and have a nice crockery unit placed there. This way, you get a display corner and a bigger dining table if there are guest at your place and you can also think of the placing the table away from the wall.

You can add a beautiful set of 2 planters with a rug below it and by the side a metallic gueridon/ service trolley with cutlery/ bottles/ any kind of dining requirements on it!
