Any suggestions on how can I make this empty space more attractive

You should look for a sleek buffet counter design that compliments the dinning table and the wooden false ceiling finish in your room

Hi Ms. Kabita

If you want this space to be part of your formal dining room, I would suggest a console, large mirror and a rug. If the space permits you can add two armchairs with a small center table.

But if you want this space to be separate from your dining space and want a casual feel to it, then I would suggest a standalone jhoola, a floor lamp and low height cabinets.

Let me know your choice.

the bedroom on the top left corner of the plan.Actually, we are planning to have the bunk bed on the side facing the toilet ( unlike displayed otherwise). This is due to the placement of the window more towards the right side of the wall. Thus resulting in the head board of the bunk bed facing the toilet door..any tips on the same related to fengshui.. Another thing is the common toilet in the centre of the plan...need tips on tht too. finally needed some help on the shoe rack location....i was thinking on the L corner of top right of plan, i.e facing the main door :(..any bright idea?

Hi Nikita, First and farmost, you have very beautifull coushion on sofa, from where you buy it? You can check the videos of Small budget Big makover first session series in youtube. In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. You should ideally use multi utility furniture. A TV unit with in built or foldable dining table. Use big mirrors and light colors to give a spacious look. Because you have a big window ( in the living room) . That can be the accent wall with some dramatic curtains and a corner drop light. There is alot we can achieve in this space. This space seems to be quite exciting to design !

You can add a beautiful set of 2 planters with a rug below it and by the side a metallic gueridon/ service trolley with cutlery/ bottles/ any kind of dining requirements on it!
