likithraaj, OMG - serious? You really need to sit down and do up a proper floor plan complete with where plumbing, electrical, hvac etc., etc. are going to run. I can't believe you've demolished your home before having a proper floor plan! Hire a local professional interior designer to come out and get that portion done right - and, to anyone else out there - GET YOUR DESIGN ON PAPER FIRST BEFORE YOU DEMOLISH. It is so much easier to change things and not be pressured into making last minute decisions. likithraaj, your going to have to make some quick decisions - ones that I'm not prepared to assist you with at this juncture until a proper floor plan has been submitted. Greetings. Try looking at Houzz PHOTOS. Scroll down to Patios. Click. Enter "atrium" in the search box. Be sure to use quotation marks (" "). Some atriums are open to the sky, as your space is. I did see at least one with an "outdoor" kitchen. Another place to look for ideas for your space on Houzz is the Patios section. These are usually at the back of a house. Some patios are enclosed by high walls, which is similar to your situation. You can save the photos you like the best into your own Ideabook. Even if you are not sure about a photo, add it to your Ideabook as soon as you see it. It is impossible to find a specific photo on Houzz unless you have the photo number. It is easy to delete a photo from an Ideabook.

Hi pankaj. Some lovely ideas above. Is that a door at the end of the passage? It strikes me, especially if you want to make the passage all white, that you might be able to give that door a special treatment to bring some drama to the end of the passage. That draws the attention to the door and away from the passage itself. You could just paint it a vivid colour. I think we tend to let our interior doors remain very plain and boring, when there is no good reason for that to be a rule. The one below would need some sort of backing for privacy, I guess, but I think to put metalwork on a door is a great idea that you could adapt in various ways. (Be aware of the dusting, though! Outside the rain will wash things clean, but not inside.) Also have a look at http://www.lushome.com/11-door-decorating-ideas-create-modern-interior-doors/58940 for some creative paint ideas -- I can't get those pictures to copy. I like the first one on that site. It's simple and geometric, and could very easily be adapted without hurting the budget.

The advise that you get from houzz.com is from professionals like myself and also from people who aren't professional but who enjoy commenting. The site is not really set up for solving very complex designs such as a complete house. I enjoy taking a few moments out of my busy day helping out when I can, but there is no compensation involved and I can't spend much of my time here. Houzz can also be used to find a professional to hire in your part of the world. We have clients who have found us through houzz. I don't know if there is a pro near you, but hopefully you can find a local architect for you to help you design your house. Of course you can post any questions that you have and you never know what great answers you will get.
