Building a Home Design Dilemma

constructing first floor

I have a ground floor house construccted about 15-17 yrs back. at thattime we hired an architect for the same. however the structural and other drawings associated were not provided by him. for some reason we also could not collect it. now i plan to counstruct first floor. in absence of drawings how to proceed. pl advice.

If you just need the existing floor plan for existing one there are measurements companies who will come and make it for you. It will depend on your location.

Else your new architect/designer can also get it done.

I would suggest you to consult an Architect and ask him a site visit.

Hello Manu, If its under construction, then please make the furniture layout along with the window positions. Just taking care of the cross ventilation and not planning the furniture might create restrictions.
