This is my living room! I have a toddler so keeping minimalism in mind I would like to rearrange the furniture’s to include kids play area and cover the router wires. The playpen will be removed. Any help will be appreciated
Add some decorative elements like wall lights, may be wall paper on a wall etc. Seating arrangements + T.V. unit, proper lighting are the basic requirements.
You can have a sofa size may be approx 7' / 7.5', two accent chairs on the window wall, a couch or a runner on the opp. side, a center table sized 3'6"x 2' approx, a set of nesting table, approx 5' long, sleek t.v. unit.
Go for a pendent light at the end L of window, wall paper with a decorative wall mirror with wall light. I think this will do.
All the furniture sizes are approximate as I don't have proper dimensions.
Hey there.. maximum space is occupied by furniture in a room, so to physically maximize place you should go for fusion furniture like combining dining table with sofa so that you need two seperate spaces for each of them. I have done such a combination in a residence and ot worked out amazingly.
To visually make it larger use of mirrors on walls, nude colors and proper lighting can really help.
I would really recommend to have seperate space for toddler and let the kid create his nuisance and clutter and reuse the playpen may be alongside entrance door. Which can be later remodelled to reading space or other utility.
