A combination of Offwhite, Beige Upholstery and dark shades of wood would look good. Provided you keep the wood minimal . The floor can also be a similar shade of wood . Remember whatever you do, make it look rich and elegant, only then will you be able to pull this look off. I am assuming the your ceiling is considerably high as well. Paint the walls and ceiling in offwhite shades with only the feature wall grey

So I am planning to do something like that in the picture. I really liked the use of the emperador marble and the balancing of the colours. In the second picture, I have selected the emperador for Wall as shown in picture, the light ones will be for the next three walls and the third tile will be for the flooring. most colours would go with the light to neutral oak floor. A dark contrast wood panelled door would look great. someone here said that should be avoided. I feel a dark contrast,whether in wood, or a coloured paint would work very well. A painted panelled door (red, blue, green etc) with a wooden floor wood be a bold choice and will give the space a more European look.

Choosing any light color combination will give an illusion of a bigger room. My suggestion will be using shades of white light cream pie from asian paints and bringing in the colors in the room though, furniture, fabrics and art pieces. Connect with me for further details.
