Hi, you can go for a mix of different colours to add interest to the bathroom space. You can also think of adding different textures / patterned tiles on the wall with a moulding (one above it, another design below it) at the window cill level to visually increase the height and volume. Please go for anti-skid tiles for floor in a light tone. Hope these suggestions help you.

There is no end to wishlist :). It's a new home and remodelling bathrooms may be a very costly affair in terms of money and efforts/time and sometimes approvals from builders.

Before indulging in the process would give a straightforward suggestion to check if you would really like to do that now.

Remodelling this with thorough water proofing may cost lakhs and some 20 days of effort. Take your call if you are open to it

Thank you for your suggestion.. I am myself apprehensive, but the tile colors are giving me a headache. Is there any alternative to changing the tiles?

For flooring , see if you like epoxy flooring which can be done on existing flooring. 

For walls you may opt to change a few highlighters. Or mounting Marble slabs on top of tiles in a few sections.

There are few experimental people who dare with painting over the bathroom tiles. Never tried that.
