need suggestions for our bedroom
Comments (44)I like second plan! That space will fit the wardrobe perfectly. Take all colors from the art. The colors can be lighter or darker than the colors you see in art. Take "Venice" with you to paint store and they might be able to help you choose good colors. Idea: paint four walls the same and see if you like that. If you feel the room lacks interest, then paint the accent wall. Choose a pale green that harmonizes with "Venice" and a darker green accent. Yellow + red accent White + blue accent...See MoreAny suggestion
Comments (44)You could also bring in some texture with bamboo sticks or decorative branches and help balance a bit the height of your room with small scale furniture. Spray paint them if you find the perfect size and shape but they aren't the color that you need. Ikea carries white decorative stalks for a very good price. the ones in the 1st picture hold well with small kids around and you don't need a vase for them. there are washi paper or crinkly paper floor lamps with a soft beautifully diffused glow For a budget friendly version check ikea or target http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80028552/...See MoreNeed suggestion to redesign the living room
Comments (19)The morning light in your room looks nice, but that seems to be coming from the bedroom area. I would suggest bright white paint on the window wall. One accent wall, preferably the one directly opposite the door wall since it will be in direct view when you enter. Paint it any colour you like but keep in mind to maintain the palette. It should be visible in the search you prepare for the other items. in case you are conflicted, go with wooden furniture and white or grey upholstery. If you are considering reflooring, I would suggest a neutral tone so you may have more options since the one you have now looks to be red which would limit your colour options. if you want more pattern to your flooring, geometric patterns in black and white add some form while maintaining that palette freedom. If however you wish for more colourful floors, I would suggest you decide on your palette before so you can choose wisely. Neutral tones also allow you to choose between a vast array of materials, from stone to tile to vinyl sheeting. if you want that wooden look without compromising on the waterproof property, you could look into vinyl sheets. They are better than laminates in a number of ways. if you need to discuss more, you may email me. The details are in my profile. Best of Luck!...See MorePlease help! Comments (15)Had another question - I have been told that any granite that’s non-black is not suitable for kitchen platform usage. Is this true? Are lighter shade of granite prone to discolouration or other issues?...See MoreShades By Shweta
