Suggest the front entry door design for the entry to the dining follow

1.Suggest the front entry door design for the entry to the dining followed by drawing room.This entry is 8 feet wide.we are planning to have central door with windows on both sides,but bit sceptical as the door opening might impact access of shoe rack on the left side of door
2.What should be the design partition scheme between living and dining so that dining space gets adequate privacy as guest visits the place. I don't want any permanent or glass partition considering the size of Drawing is not quite big

Go for 3'6" wide door at the centre and 2'3" wide slit windows on either side.

Coming to partition, you can go with vertical wooden slats along with storage as shown in pic.

SJ , With due respect to your personal choices, for a family of 6 this is certainly looking over the top. I would suggest you to cut down the TV units to 2 or 3. You may not need 25 seats for a closely knit family it looks like we are trying to create silos in the home where everyone just sticks to their rooms, with separate baths, accent chairs, study and TV units. I would recommend you to convert the NE bedroom's bath as a common one with entrance from living. You can then do away with powder room. SE bath has a wardrobe inside the bath, I wonder why would you need that. It may not be a ideal placement. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore.

Hey Mandeep, So you can try to add the other color tiles to create patterns and design apart from just having another coloured tiles at the centre. HOWEVER, suppose we go with your idea of having other colour tiles in the centre - then how about these ideas: 1. Blue 2. Red & Orange or Red and Yellow -- but here the texture is important. 3. Thanks for your idea.. but study room entrance can't be shifted as there is RCC pillar on side wall and electricity board on that wall.. Do you suggest to put the separator between drawing n dining.will this make the area congested..this is the only thing I am afraid of..

Hi, you don't always need to hide the beam .....if treated well it can be part of space like vintage homes.....forcefully trying to cover it up also not work always...make it work by just fixing mirror on it so ur ceiling length doubles up or as suggested by someone earlier putting rafters is good idea. hope this helps

Thanks @Hyphen Design for your response..I am interested in having temporary partition design not a permanent one as the drawing area is not quite large and we would like to have more space to move around..

Hi, you can have movable partition for your drawing room. You can either do a nice partition in rattan or fluted glass partition with aluminium frame. Attaching two images below for your reference.
