I guess if you use lower priced tiles and reuse a lot of your existing furniture. When you hire a designer, they should be able to tell you a BOQ, which is an estimate of cost of all the work. Most times it has margins for negotiations. Alternatively, you can look at a designer who will only do the design, allowing you to control and manipulate the cost of all execution to save cost.

No tiles or marble flooring
