Hi , I think if ever you want to sell this property in the future - you will need to follow Vastu guidelines in the design at this point - otherwise this may hinder resale. Assuming that the architect has followed this and the plan is set - I would suggest you use colours and artwork to create the look that you are after ... Also consider shelving going across the full window wall - this will give you extra storage and also somewhere to grow herbs etc in front of the window - maybe even have a deeper shelf at worktop height and a stool infront of the window ? If you do a picture search on elements that you would like to add - ie kitchen "turquoise accessories" or kitchen "gold" etc you will get lots of inspirational images to help you get an attractive kitchen ... You can go for hard natural flooring for your common areas like hall, dining and stairs. For the rooms its up to your budget. There're so many choices like wooden flooring, Vitrified tiles. Marble flooring. For the bathroom you must go for anti skid floors which have there own specifications. For bathroom wall tiles market is full of choices .You can select as per your choice. About the colors in different areas, you should choose light and bright colors for your common areas. For the rooms, you can definitely play with different colors depending upon the who is accommodating the room and the interior theme. You can use wall papers and decals to highlight one of the wall in all the rooms.

Hello Aravind, It looks like the common spaces have a leverage over private spaces. The bedrooms are smaller whereas the common areas are bigger. Please recheck if you do not want a common toilet for guests and visitors. Most of the wardrobes seem.to cover a window. Not very sure of the intention there. May be I am not getting it right. Hi Prashant, South-east corner plots are actually not good for residential purpose. It is very good for commercial purposes. But, if the house is built as per Vsstu Shastra, it can reduce the bad effects. 1. The South-East corner has to be built with a separate building like a shop, garage, small temple, E.B meter room, boiler room, separate toilet…etc. 2. Trees like Coconut tree, Neem tree, etc., can be planted in the south-east corner of the plot. 3. The kitchen must be in the south-east corner. There are many more remedies. Ground Floor : Few columns are too close to each other which is not required. As per Vastu, kitchen should be in south-east corner as this plot needs to follow Vastu strictly. A separate garage/security room need to be added to this plan. A portico will form in the north east corner as per the first floor plan which is strictly prohibited as per Vastu in south east corner plots. The planning is OK as per me, but your south east corner plot requires a lot of Vastu considerations. First Floor : If the toilet which in the north can be shifted anywhere else better go for it. In the long run, toilets can have seepage issues, which can spoil your living room roof. Generally, we prefer toilets over toilets and kitchen over kitchen. The basic reason for this is plumbing issues/to minimize the wastage of pipes. Hope this will help. Regards Prity
