Ways to Soundproof ground floor? Furniture moving/even door latch closing from above floor is audible. It's a old load bearing residential house. Also I frequently hear car honking inside my house as I live near a busy road. Any suggestions for that too.

    Yash,

You may need to install acoustic panels on the ceiling.

Twin layers of False ceiling solution from Saintgobain will additionally reduce noise.

For the traffic noise you can get the Sound proof Fenesta windows installed.

Acoustic panels call also be added to the walls and they act as a decorative element as well.

This shall help you a lot else try gifting a carpet to the neighbours ;)

    Thanks,
