Need consultation for window and living room interior

Is it better to have ventilators below lintel attached to window frame Or to place the ventilator above the lintel? Can anyone help me out., considering the air circulation as well as which one would be more appealing. Window dimensions are 7 ft x 5ft. Ventilaors of height 15 in

Hi Gourango,

Keeping it under the lintel level will be convenient for maintenance without using stools or any other equipments. Also, psychologically it would be a dungeon like feeling in case if it's above the lintel level.
However, if you have any plans of using the wall for hanging a mirror or something under the ventilator and if maintenance is not that inconvenient for you, you can definitely place it above the lintel.

I'm no pro, but I'm curious-does this apartment exist? It reminds me of a project my husband took in an elective class, Intro to architecture, where he was required to design a living space as part of his final grade (Or is it some sort of student housing??) I'm asking because 1) All of the bedrooms are the same size and are isolated from each other, 2) the dining area at 10 x10 in the middle is going to be a corridor and you'll have almost no space for a table and chairs. 3) Then also all the bathrooms are ONLY accessed through the closets, which is extremely awkward for visitors. As far as the bedrooms, not necessarily an exciting choice, but your easiest choice is a bed against the toilet wall, with at least one nightstand, and a dresser on the wall by the door.

Ashish That is a nice idea. However if you are going with light walls, I would say go darker with your furniture colour. If you use white or off white wall colour, go with a darker grey sofa. Though not very dark but at least 2-3 tones darker than your walls. Go with khadi texture on sofa covers. It looks very nice and is quite trendy. https://www.houzz.in/photos/vikram-phvw-vp~280 Something like this is a good option (regarding colour and texture) Mounting the tv on the wall is also a good option. What i will ask you to change is your coffee table. Replace it with with a glass or a wooden nesting table. Go for a set of 2 round ones with walnut polish (if it is wood) .Keep a small dari rug under it. use you wall paper on the wall on which you are mounting your tv or on the wall directly adjacent to it. separate your dinning and living areas.
