Want Suggestions for Music Studio Interior.

I have a Music Class of 15' X 38' Size. I want to make a performance stage with dark interior but more lighting in it. Any suggestions for it? Here is a Pic which i imagining for my studio.

it's look good .! better make some changes in acoustical panel fabric and ceiling design
platform in reference image is ok as per mension dimensions
make sure about seating height and speaker connection even height

You need to make it look more of a music room less of a media room. Right now it seems its not achieving the objective. Ceiling definitely needs a re work. The stage too should be fitted with more of light combinations. ceiling, walls etc. Also the acoustic panel needs to be better. The walls are looking too drab. Jazz it up a bit. Since its a music room so I guess you would be paying good attention to the audio equipment stuff, mixer, external and throw back speaker location etc. The seating is too comfy for a musical performance. Its more of theater types. Suggest to go through some good spaces concerned solely with the music aspect.

This is a dilemma indeed! Posts in the middle of rooms are always a little difficult. It would be helpful to have pictures of all four walls to suggest the best layout. From what I can understand of your dilemma, I've attached a layout that may work based on your description. It features a defined entry. So when you walk through the front door, you will see a console table with a couple of ottomans stashed beneath. They can come in handy for extra seating. In front of the console are two arm chairs, followed by a modular sectional - they make up your main seating area. To the right of the kitchen door is a TV console. Behind the sofa is a bookcase and to the right is a round table with a couple of chairs for games, paper work or what have you. You don't mention any windows. Is this the case? If so, we'll want to make sure you've got adequate lighting and colors that will work with the limited light. Hope this helps!

Hi Magesh. It depends what kind of impression you want to convey, and the kind of customer you wish to attract. Some showrooms place the furniture in groupings to show a collection and suggest combinations, complete with lamps and a painting or clock on the wall. The customer would then pass through several of these on their way though the store. This might appeal to a high-end customer. Another approach might be to break up the sets and group everything by type. Rows of sofas, rows of tables, rows of bookcases. This would appeal to the bargain hunters and give the impression of abundance.

Yeah @Isuru. @Rajesh, For the open kitchen you need to consider few points 1) Your cooking pattern--- The kitchen cooking aroma will spread in the whole house . Understand the intensity and think twice. 2) The place should or must always be clean as its open . 3) There is no service area or wash area provided in the kitchen. 4) Access from porch is as good as one of the main entrance passage for outsider, if the guest is entering from there, you will have to consider to keep it presentable all the time. There are so many points to consider while making or designing as open kitchen and your kitchen is nearby the main entrance. So please think considering all the points and decide.

If you like to keep the traditional look, bring in curtains, paintings and more lights. Repainting the walls will be a good idea as it can create more freshness. Try a feature wall with red or maroon paint or wallpaper that compliment the flooring. The book shelf can be changed to something wooden. Or If you want a contemporary look, choose wall mounted / floating book shelves.
