I just put Barely Buff in my small bathroom and LOVE it but used the next shade up - whole wheat - in a small guest room and it looks phenomenal there... so depends upon the size of your room, but this looks small so perhaps the Barely Buff will be great. If the colors are more grey, you may want to look at Grey Wisp by Benjamin Moore. Check out those two...

I would however like to clarify my requirements/dilemma a bit more. 1) The built/carpet area for this 3 BHK is about 1600 sqft (Superbuilt 1960 sqft). What is the appropriate tile size I need to scout for? More specifically, will Ultima-range-like huge tile sizes (i.e. 120x180cm2, 120x120cm2) be suitable for this area? 2) While I am thinking of white (based) tiles, I am not necessarily looking for super-white tones (it gives a bit of a commercial look, and will need extreme maintenance). Something more practical, and with some depth/dimension is what I am trying to identify. Any suggestions? 3) Would you advice that I consider other white-toned flooring options like Terrazzo (Bharat Floorings is having a Cast-in-Situ option, but I am yet to go to their showroom)? @Rock Doc: Are you addressing this to me? I haven't actually bought these tiles yet - when I do, I will definitely be going for the handmade ones. They're a work of art and irreplaceable in my opinion. However, there are also screen-printed tiles available in the market in more or less the same patterns; the workmanship is of course different, but you get them cheaper, and they're also more easily available. You could give that a shot. I'd recommend Aakaar Flooring Solutions - they're here on Houzz and are able to provide both the above-mentioned types.

Yes tile dimensions do vary but it should be within tolerance of +/- 1.5 mm. Big brands never compromise on dimensions, color fastness and thickness as their machineries are automated. Yes, imitation and duplicate tiles could have been sold off as original ones. Check your box's QR code for that. If none found, then it is a cheap knock off. When you procure next time, please visit a brand exclusive experience center and buy it from them. Costing would be lower than dealers for the same quality and quantity.
