Help with staircase design

I have a very narrow spiral that is very inconvenient to navigate. I have about 6 feet by 4 feet for teh staircase. height of the ceiling is 10 feet. The stairs are about 2feet 3 inch wide. I need advise on

a) Can the stair be replaced without damaging the flooring and using the existing pole?

b) If possible, design for a more user friendly staircase that I can get fabricated.

Will be thankful for any help.

Pawan,

Your dilemma is difficult to resolve without a site inspection. Please hire a professional to get an advice.

a) It may be feasible to retain the flooring and pipe. However if you have a couple of spare tiles it would help.

b) Subject to site inspection. Floor plan may help as well.

Have messaged you separately. Also please find the floor plan attached. I hope this helps. The flooring is Jaisalmer yellow marble. Hence the challenge with breaking and replacement.

hi struti I would say it's matter of choice. marble or even granite or rough stone will have its own charm and definitely long lasting but only when staircase passage is comfortable huge. if space is compact wooden stairs would be better as its could be playfull with spiral or even basics with moulds and finishes, giving staircase elevation a contemporary look thanks shradha shah beescheese design
