Living cum dining room for 3 bhk

Seeking suggestions on how to best place the furniture within the hall cum dining room ; this is not too big with specifications of 10 by 20. We wish to place sofa, TV and dining table. pls suggest where to put these and how big, the sofa, dining table should be ; what else can be done in terms of room color etc. to make it look spacious.

Better to opt for L-shape sofa for the above position..

Bedroom appears to have occupied more space than living room. If it's already finished,. you may have to opt for compact furniture,..

Or reduce the size of bedroom first; then proper living/dining arrangements can be done.

thanks for the suggestion ; not too willing to reduce the size of the bedroom ; L shaped sofa near the balcony area or the other side, else there will be dining table just when you enter the house

first of all i think u have a nice large space to begin with. We can create an L-shaped partition extending towards space where u have kept the dining table. Sowe get a lare space for L- shaped sofa. The TV unit can be where the diwan is right now.with a pendicularly placed showcase / bookshelf which also acts as a space divider. the space beyond that can be utilised for the diwan or a day bed which can be the family space . the dining table to be placed in the center of the room with circulation space all around. Hello Rachna, We have gone through your posts. Please clarify the room size is it 12x8 or 16x9.3 . Let's start from bottom line, what is the budget that you can spare now for the makeover. A lot of remodelling would depend upon the budget .BTW, I really appreciate your honesty about the affordability ! Coming back to the topic, I believe your TV unit is placed in a good position but other units will require movement. Please do confirm the size. so much clutter on tv panel. keep minimal on tv panel. get glass door for puja cabinet. remove all the wall photos. put sheer curtains.. white curtains would make the room look as bigger. swap dining with sofa and

-You can go with round sofa as it take less space

-Take a round center table

-You can make a TV unit smartly if space is less too

-You can also take a small wooden partition in between Living and dinning pls see the reference image
