The choice of Laminate vs Painted vs Veneer would be how you would be using your kitchen and sometimes personal preference as well. 1. Laminate finishing in your kitchen would allow you to have a great choice of colours from woodgrain, pastel, gloss, etc. Laminates are also more resilient to scratching and wear. 2. Spray paint finishing depends on the type of colour you choose, will give the cabinet a real nice feel especially in a matt type white finish. Spray painted finishes do have a con with chipping and scratches in the long run. 3. veneer is made out of natural wood and if you are someone who likes the natural and warm finishing of a natural looking wood finish, this would be a good choice. Although veneer has a high tendency for scratches and marking, so you would need to have special care with it.

Hi guys,Desperate for advise in deciding which edge band should I go for for my cabinet shutters which will be laminated with saintgobain back painted glass.I am not satisfied with normal pvc or high gloss edge bands from rehau.I had decided to go for glass laminate for our kitchen. So we went for Red white and black combination from saintgobain back painted glass. When the interior contractor came with high gloss edge band for the shutters both didn't go together. I had seen acrylic edge bands which looks premium and will go along glass lamination. But I didn't find any dealer in South india who supply acrylic/3d/PMMC/transparent type edge bands.Please let me know which brand and material I should go for for my Edgeband

Here is a solution to this of u can’t find acrylic or laminate of the same colour the u can get it pained from Asian paints they have a huge variety of painting solutions with whatever shade u want. So what u can do is get the core material of plywood and put mdf on it to get a smoother and even surface and then ask Asian paints to get it painted for u I think it will we cheaper as well as u can get ur desired shade

There are lots of self adhesive wall papers with lot of good design n sizes u can stick them over it no need of professional help but try to get waterproof or the one u can wipe it with wet cloth some of the available on Amazon n cheap way of remodeling ur furniture look... I hope this can solve ur problem
