is it safe to keep inverter in closed shelf

Hi Everyone,
I am planning to keep inverter in a closed shelf in living room. Is it safe to do so, does it need ventilation,
I have attached cupboards photo. should I get it holed for bottom shutter for ventilation ?

    Greetings From Dream Design,

    It is not really safe to keep the inverter and battery inside a closed cabinet because, the inverter will heat up during the working process and needs airflow to stay cool.

    And also the battery keeps releasing gases and they need to be exhausted. These gases are slightly flammable and toxic

    So Please keep the inverter and battery in a well ventilated area. or any open area

    Varun,

    Yes it would need ventilation. You can keep a Louvre door for the area where the inverter battery is gonna be placed.

    Use Inverter box. videly available & cheap. takes care of ventilation & asthetics.
