hi, you can try wood panelling, with mica on normal timber, also great wall papers available nowadays, distress finish on wall paper gives a rustic touch, with roped up bulbs as lighting on the walls ( as hangings) on the corners.. also bricked stony walls look superb!!

Seems you have planned seating area at the corner , these green walls will add aesthetics to your seating area. Teal is a very trendy colour, but having it on all four walls may be an overkill in the kitchen, especially with that dramatic chevron dado tile. I hope at least the 4th wall is white! The cabinets have to be white too
