I would consider putting cabinets on the short wall where the utility wall is. Have your stove there centered on the area. Move the sink so it is centered on the long wall where the cooktop is now. Put the fridge on the end run of cabinets closest to the dining table. That will give you an L shape kitchen with a nice work triangle. If you have your heart set on an island remove all the wall cabinets and install a large island. This is not the style of your kitchen but it does show the layout I described above. L shape cabinetry with stove on short end, sink in the middle with DW to right of sink with cabinet above it for dish storage and the refridgerator on the end run so it is out of work triangle and conveniet to the dining area for serving or work triangle for prep and cooking. Island can be any style you desire. L shape with island and open across from island; you might consider this layout if you desire an island. Something like this?

I have only Rearranged the position of the existing furniture as Approximate Assume sizes as per the picture shown. As per the Proposed layout plan all the electrical points will be changed, but the room space will look spacious & as you enter the living room you will see two different seating space, left is the living space & on right is the dinning table near to the kitchen area... as per what I assume as per the picture shown.... All the furniture is of solid teak wood material so for that you can paint a light blue colour on the walls & ceiling will be half-white. Re Polish the wood. Highlight the electrical PVC conduit pipes by silver paint to look like Galvanize Pipe running all around. Change the False Ceiling & Curtains. If you can afford some more, then go for Led Lights & electrical materials such as Fan & wall lights, switches. Hi guys. i need some advice or ideas for my kitchen. the problem with my kitchen is its small in size which is due to beam and utility area provided within it. The beam comes under the slab.It doesn't hv much counter space. i am unable to figure out how i shud use the space. Please help me out. I am thinking of keeping the washing machine out so that i am having some space from dat area or keeping the fridge there. please suggest me.
