There are many info sources on Australian internet sites too. I tried to cut and paste but it won't work. I think if you want to search Google and more easily access websites based in other countries it helps to type "site country code; query" eg site au; wheelchair accessible kitchen or Australia Liveable Housing Guidelines. Youtube has videos of kitchens and also search under 'handicap kitchens' on youtube and Google images. Good luck.

The island works in the plan provided, you might even make the island longer. 42" clearance will work between island and cabinets (36" if not much trafic, and no appliance door swings).

Thank you nagadeepti, but there is an issue, my father has already finished with the basic foundation,sump, and pillars when I tried to tell him about the option he said that its not possible to change the plan , Please let me know if there are any other option , i have included the ground floor plan as well ,I thought of swapping the bedroom to kitchen in first floor , let me know if its possible according to vastu since its north facing site with roads on both north and south . we have made slight changes instead of full utility in ground floor its only till kitchen , bedroom is extended to make 9*10, and kink for fridge is removed . balcony in second floor is removed . Kindly help if there are any other suggetion to make look house spacious. stairs to the terrace from outside has to be there. I know iam asking for more in a small space.but please help. finally this is the elavation we have decided on with a little bit of modification like extended balconies. Hi. 1. Install hydraulics on existing shelving. But before installing that go for a washable paint. Kitchens get dirty daily and you can clean the inside easily. They will cost you less and you will have maximum space. 2. Install few rods to hang in your essentials. 3. Get a pantry section done. 4. Use vertical arrangements for cabinets so that your kitchen stuff stays inside giving a cool look on the outside. 5.If possible get a sink done in utility area so your kitchen is always tidy. 6. Try not to waste your space in the kitchen in case you have the utility area near to kitchen just by providing lpg storage in utility area. 7. Paint colours of walls, Tiles and laminates of cabinets/shutters should be contrasting each other to give a good look.
