@Miloni Mehta my focus is now on painting. I have selected the following Asian paints cotton wool L104, sonnet L146, sugarnut L126, morning glory 0765, cain beige 8563, touch of beige 8508, confetti 8300, crystal peak L105...if you could let me know ceiling / wall combination with these shades, it would be of great help. I have not taken dark shades because I don't like them.

What do you suggest for exteriors, we would like light grey and white combination. Roof tiles will be red concrete tile.

Since you're in India, light colours will require very frequent repainting. the white will turn yellow very fast. you could probably go for cladding of stone and tile for easier maintenance? the light grey is a good choice. I'll post a couple of pictires

I would suggest go for beige instead. it'll already be a little yellow. and you can have light sandstone or something clad on the surface. pressure washing it in 4 - 5 years should make it good as new.

as for the tiles, I love dark colours. greys and blacks look really classy, but it might not be your style.

do you have the interior designing and finishes finalized? as I mentioned earlier, everything in the room has to be tied together. I cannot give you a colour for the arch if it is going to clash with the window frame job, or the cabinets or the wood.

Use lighter and neutral colours for the walls like beige and off white and grey, etc. you can opt for a darker coloured paint for the feature or highlight wall or even use a wallpaper
