Aisa paints royale Matt

I'm repainting my house. I wanted an off white colour. So I selected royale Matt colour code L156 almost ivory for my house but this is not what i was expecting. Is Matt the right choice? What should i do? Please help. This paint is looking very dull and showing all the wall imperfection.

when we talk about basic colors but yes soothing brand is important aspect.
I will suggest
go far premium matt (Nippon paints) best one
another option is Berger or Nerolac
they are super classy and quality is great

Jyoti, Imperfections show because the base was not prepared well. To cut costs , people choose touch up putty work and then the imperfections will show up after finish.

Unless that is resolved your problem will remain.

Trick is not to choose bright white or standard white but something with a tinge of yellow or green. Cotton wool colour L104 by Asian is a great example we have used time and again. Most emulsions come in matt, including the most economical ones such as Asian Tractor and Apcolite. Don't let the price of a paint fool you.

The orange is actually interesting and many people are adopting a wacky and young look for their office. I will suggest you to break the monotony and NOT go for grey or warm wood colors in the office since these colors make the space dull. You cn go for matte white laminates on the cabinets. With black and white pattern paintings/decor.

Hi Rahul, For the shade I'll suggest you 0765 (Morning Glory) by Asian Paints. As far as the finish is concerned, i usually prefer the Soft-sheen (Matte) for modern residentials, but you can proceed as per your personal preference.

What's the correct way of preparing base then? We are doing sanding, primer, putty, sanding, putty, primer, 2 coats of paint.

No you cannot add any paint to this.
this will spoil the property of color
you can use it as base coat for your walls
as we suggest 03 coats of paint to each wall
so base coat go for this
then top two coat you can change the color
then no issues

@aura interiors which color u suggest in nippon to look more classy and big in size, 1-2 wall can be used as highlighter wall if posdible.
