here is what I would do if it were my room,

open up the balcony door wall to add more light,
use a grey slate flooring
wallpaper
plain 3" ceiling
bed near the window
vertical panels
wardrobe on entrance wall
whites, greys, greens
lots of texture

the room is around 15.3 square mtrs
acc to vastu the south is along the window wall and so cant place my bed along that direction
my personal tastes is wood furniture, and white walls minimalist design

1. if you opt window wall for bed positioning its not good as per vastu as per aesthetic
2. room will look odd also
   choice is yours
