no there are other room too but we are planning to colour all of them diffrent.....with new ..shades and quality ...

Hello All, I like to frequently change up the colour schemes of different rooms in my house. For example, I have two palettes (red and blue) of curtains, bed linen and other soft furnishings, and I switch between them every time one set has to go for wash. This poses a bit of a challenge when it comes to the drawing room, because you can't do much about the sofa or any feature walls that have wallpaper on them. What colour scheme would you suggest for the walls and fixed furnishings in this case, so that switching up colours doesn't cause an eyesore?

If I'm correct then your house is south facing. Are you seeking the Rooms directions as per vastu? If yes then please reassure the directions with the compass and send exact positions. As per the directions --- the kitchen should be in SE corner of the building, Master bedroom in SW , no Toilets in the Eastern or Northern part of the house, Pooja in the east side of the house that means the person who is doing the pooja should face East.

Hi Rakhi , You can probably follow this : Furnishings : If you wish to retain the Sofa, you can highlight it with bright silk / cotton silk bright colored cushions and throws. Change the curtains to neutrals. Walls : You can also go neutral on the wall colors ( off whites , ivory , beige or light grey) This opens up your possibilities and choices with furnishings and other add - ons. If possible you can get the exposed brick wall done on of the walls ( the entrance console wall for example) and have lot of interesting frames on it ) Artwork / frames : You can add lots of art work frames ( on the sofa wall ) of various style and types ( like in the grey wall pic attached. ) You can even add sari frames like in the pics attached above. would specially advise to add artwork frames on the entrance wall to hide the MCP (electrical board) or even a nice mirror. Plants : Please add lot of greens , it really lights up the space like no other artificial prop can. You get lot of low maintenance indoor plants they brighten up the space. Please note : You should first choose whether you wish to go for a traditional look or a modern or even a blend of the the two and then choose artwork and furnishings accordingly.
