OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

I have only Rearranged the position of the existing furniture as Approximate Assume sizes as per the picture shown. As per the Proposed layout plan all the electrical points will be changed, but the room space will look spacious & as you enter the living room you will see two different seating space, left is the living space & on right is the dinning table near to the kitchen area... as per what I assume as per the picture shown.... All the furniture is of solid teak wood material so for that you can paint a light blue colour on the walls & ceiling will be half-white. Re Polish the wood. Highlight the electrical PVC conduit pipes by silver paint to look like Galvanize Pipe running all around. Change the False Ceiling & Curtains. If you can afford some more, then go for Led Lights & electrical materials such as Fan & wall lights, switches. first of all, Thank you guys for those valuable inputs. yes, as far as cleaning goes, its just been finished installing and I have asked them to clean them up. And also, I observed that the frosting on the glass didn't look that good, so I am going for the filming on certain portions of the doors n windows. - Is there a particular quality of films that I may choose for this ? - Yes, lighting is definitely the criteria I had in mind which can bring up the finish to this. And i am worried about this , as I did not go for False Roofing, bcos the ceiling is already at a low height. I should really refine my ideas on the lighting part. - the stairs are floored with white Marble stone..My mom loves it and the matting on it might hinder its beauty, but yes I will surely consider that as well. Hello, Firstly I would like to talk to you about COB lights. I personally think it is way better than panel lights because the more recessed the light source is; The more it is hidden to the Naked eye. The same also features some architectural lighting benefits too Were you could choose the beam angle so that a specific Area Is highlighted. Secondly your query about yellow, light yellow and white light Which are basically known as warm neutral and cool light. The truth is warm is the most preferred colour around the globe as it instantly makes A place feel Cosy and also brings out the richness in colours and also gives out a more relaxed feel to the eye. But basically we have been mostly drawn to white tube lights in the past and our human nature have adjusted to it and prefers the same in simulated environment. There is also some basic science to this matter. As in western countries people live in Cooler climates. When they get back home at evening or at night the warm tone of light gives them a sense of warmth-ness, Similarly as our country is very close to the equator and has this summer tropical climate when we get back to our homes the Cooler tune of light gives us a sense of coolness. Please do not worry but it is said that LED lights which are closer to the blue tone is considered a bit on the harmful side so I would suggest you to go for neutral or warm light or a mix of both. P.S. I have personally used COB recessed lights for a whole residential project complemented with other layering of light such as hidden cover light and different lamp light sources.
