Also, I would not want to walk into the side of the two club chairs that are shown in #4-6. Finally, the tv does not seem to me to be in a very good spot if you want most of the people to be able to see it.

cool --but you can see the entire floor has been raised--do you have the ceiling height? a closet 'step up' would be less of a structural commitment, OR a buildup under builtin furniture--like bookcases flanking a fireplace, also some great ideas on HOUZZ i'd never have thought of. sorry i'm not tech-ie enough to paste the site:) of course if you go 'structural' --all walls and ceilings are fair game as well. remember that ease of access [or lack thereof] can affect stealth mode greatly--as in your pic: every time you step onto the 'box' in your pic you would hear a 'different' sound.

Hello there, The slate claddings needs wall washer illumination. Please do that first. Place a wooden block above washing machine and cover it with wooden slats. This will double up as an iron board and a curio desk as well. Coming to the basin it is best to put a half pedestal over the niche and install a vanity mirror with storage for daily essentials. Hello Nivedita, If you do not have the choice then you can implement few simple things, 1) Colour of the walls should be cream, white 2) place the wardrobe and bed in south or west side . Wardrobe should open on the east or north side. If not possible then place your money on that side. 3) Position the mirror on the north or east side. 4) Usage of north windows should be more. 5)Place your couple photo on the ssw wall for the happy life.
