Fenesta UPVC windows

my contractor told me that even fenesta UPVC expands and gets jammed over a period of 4-5 years. so, should i invest in that or can go for a nominal brand?

or one should go for aluminium windows in living room and bedrooms? but that does not give a classy look. please suggest

UPVC windows are great option as compared to aluminium or wood. Choose a good brand and not much of a difference is present in the quality of top 3 upvc vendors. Apart from fenesta, other brands are Encraft, Kommerling & Aparna. I have used Encraft in my house. Take care of window Grill design so that you are able to operate windows

Pawan, The function you are describing is of a Awning Window. Yes , you can still have an exhaust. You need to get an opening cut according to size of your exhaust and mount it on the top part. You have described it as being made of cardboard. It doesn't look like a cardboard though. If it is indeed a cardboard then mounting an exhaust on it may not be durable. Use UPVC or Alum composite sheet. Changing the top part to Awning may still be feasible. But you will need some local help. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.
