I have discussed your design with my family.I likes it. some suggestions shall I change the cook top and sink in the main kitchen to each other. Because according to our tradition we have to cook by facing East or North.the window side is the east. Similarly shall we move fridge to the right end of the kitchen.(to the south Side) then I can place the mixer at there where the fridge now is.Is it convenient .i don't know how to convince my family about this design. ours is an orthodox one. Its not a matter to be discussed here. I hope I can.Any way i like this

This is an old building house...this is very old architect design..I recently buyed this property..I want to change completely...what ideas, suggestions are acceptable.. I need suggestions what's the best...this is the 1st floor plan and I have second floor with same design...1st and 2 nd floor are identicals...so can u advice me the best plan..

When you use the term "Duplex", you mean that it is a two story house, correct ? In the USA, the term "Duplex" means two separate living units side by side......but in other parts of the world it means a two story residence. Please clarily that you are talking about a two story single familly house...... If so, the footprint that your house will have on the ground floor will be approximately 1000 square feet. Do you need to park a car on the site or is parking offsite? If the parking is offsite, then you have lots of room for a two story, 1800 plus square foot house. The design will be dependent on your personal criteria, and it would be helpful if you could hire a local architect to help you with the layout of the rooms. It should be relatively simple once all of the factors are considered.

Thank you Groveraxle for the virtual ! you are too good a designer that is why I cannot help troubling you ;) you have your biggest fan in me ever since your first advice:)) As for an in-house designer I am certainly going to call somebody soon . Just that I get such a lot of options and great advice from highly accomplished and talented Houzz designers ..I would be better prepared after these conversations ..please forgive me for pestering you guys like this:)
