our contractor says these cracks r due to shrinkage and also due to expansion or contraction of wooden frames

It's ONLY been six weeks.....PLEASE!!!!!!! It was built EXTREMELY CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!! The GC wanted to MAX PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are you?

What option is available to fix this?

Farooq, from the pics it doesn't look anything serious.

Get them cleaned, grooved/scraped, sanded and then filled with Asian paints crack-fill and repaint.

If they reappear or increase then you may need to get them examined by a professional.

I just happened to see that you have panicked. Please don't.

It's a fairly common phenomenon. These are not more than 2-4 mm wide and specially if they appear near openings windows or doors. Wait for a couple of months and then get them repaired as explained above.
