Comments (2)You can install an underfloor heating system which is a series of pipes running under the floor where hot water runs and creates a warm floor and also heats the room with radiant heat. This is actually the most effective form of heating a space and is the most comfortable. The system components can be purchased or you can have a licensed contractor install it for you. Comments (2)Mosaic flooring is great and lasts forever if you take care of it occasionally. It is less costly to do a repair/polishing than to cover it up. I recommend this route. If you hate the mosaic you can have broadloom carpeting put down on top with adhesive tape underneath to hold it. Comments (3)Thanks One Plan for your recommendation. Would it be good to go for Herringbone pattern in hallway and in the open plan vinyl straight planks and then matching tile in the decking area. We have shortlisted karndean vinyl for open plan (Von Gogh Distressed Oak) althought not sure.
