Flooring Design Dilemma Living Room

I need help matching flooring with existing flooring

I recently bought a house as is that has linoleum flooring in entry, with a path to the kitchen and kitchen. But the rest of the house needs flooring. I am on a tight budget so would like to try to integrate flooring with what is there if at all possible. I am looking a laminate flooring as I have dogs. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

Mosaic flooring is great and lasts forever if you take care of it occasionally. It is less costly to do a repair/polishing than to cover it up. I recommend this route. If you hate the mosaic you can have broadloom carpeting put down on top with adhesive tape underneath to hold it. Do not use tack strip or you'll really destroy the mosaic flooring--that would be a terrible waste.

I'd suggest you have a look through the photos section on Houzz - or there's quite a few good articles on how to decorate :) maybe both you & your wife could save pictures to an ideabook with a few words on what it is you like about each one, and it'll give you more of an idea of what type of things you like? I think colour-wise, turquoise and peach can go together really well - maybe a warm cream colour on the walls & pops of turquoise and peach in the form of throw cushions etc.? Again, just searching on Houzz can give you some great ideas - just literally searching 'turquoise and peach' brings up quite a lot of pictures :) to get you started I've just picked out a few which I personally think work well :)

Thanks One Plan for your recommendation. Would it be good to go for Herringbone pattern in hallway and in the open plan vinyl straight planks and then matching tile in the decking area. We have shortlisted karndean vinyl for open plan (Von Gogh Distressed Oak) althought not sure. Also what type of anti-slip material should I go for if I had to matching wooden look vinyl ?

Linoleum is not a preferred flooring here as there are better options readily available.
