what will be better space behind bed or bed on full hight window
Comments (4)the design looks great . According to me one side of windows can be used as bed wall . we can have blackout curtains or blackout window blinds . You can even play with drapery to define the area behind bed. We already have seating in the room so next we can do is give a console/ study table with an puffe / chair to it. also one can add a bench at the end of bed. Size you can check on your Autocad . Bed wall should be the focus when one enters the room, so I feel the bed should be placed like this . Dimensions of furniture and circulation space you can work on. Also WC should be on the washbasin side to avoid Future leakages and dampness in bedroom wall. all the best...See MoreSuggest Windows
Comments (6)Chandru, UPVC windows are durable and cost effective and quite literally maintenance free. Countryside wood is cheap though, depending upon your designers suggestion you can use that too. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS, Bangalore...See Moresafety grill for full glass window
Comments (1)Hi Jignesh, Window grills are essentially made of metals such as mild steel sections, wrought iron sections and aluminium sections. Square, round or flat sections may be used in designing the grill as per the requirement and design. You can either keep it simple by giving just horizontal or vertical bars as equal intervals or give them an ornamental design. Here are a few examples - Aluminium grills are rust free, light weight and offers resistance to bending, breakage and fire. They go well with contemporary linear designs and need to be painted else they look pretty commercial and cheap for a household. Wrought iron is incomparable when it comes to strength. However, it is not rust resistant and needs frequent painting to protect it. The advantage of using wrought iron is that you can achieve a colonial look with a variety of designs it has to offer. But these come at a cost. Mild steel is a widely used material when it comes to window grills. It is both strong and durable and offers flexibility in design. But like other iron objects, it too possesses the susceptibility to rust. Hence, a regular touch up of paint is required for maintenance. Coming to the look of the grill - 1] Contemporary designs call for straight lines and geometric patterns. 2] Colonial patterns are more ornate and incorporate spindles and curves. 3] Traditional Indian grills are very subjective . You may add wooden railings at the bottom of straight bar grills or device a jali pattern to the grill to complete the look. 4] A Mediterranean or eclectic theme can be complemented with lattice grills like these. Hope these ideas help you. All the best! Regards, RnD Atelier Nagpur...See Moresliding window which one should I prefer
