You can go for Island . Keep the parallel platforms of depth 18" of the wooden colour platform and 24" on the other side platform. You can omit the balcony door side platform as you won't be needing that after the island. Just make sure to plan the island size as per the burner size and also remember to leave at least 33" of movement space on two parallel sides of the platforms.

Vyas, in the current plan your kitchen is 'almost' closed on all four sides with 11' width . IMHO, It is not ideal to have a kitchen island for practical reasons.
However if you are very keen then the toilet needs to be moved and kitchen should be made with more open space . Else in it present state. an island will be an overkill.
