Sofa recycling- New look for an old sofa

Hi,
Looking for ideas and a professional who can redo 5 seater sofa set in South Delhi.
They are very old but because the quality of wood is good, we want to retain them. Though want to trim it for a modern and less heavy look.
Request for ideas and references.

Hi Garima, i would suggest that you add a picture of your sofa so that houzers in Delhi can help you better with some advice. Take a few angles of the sofa and the room where the sofa is in as well.

Light beige (darker then off-white) for both the base and the back and you can use the colour of the textured walls as cushions for the back rest.

I see the beige color still quite popular.. another thought is may be i can get my beige sofa nicely cleaned by a professional cleaner and change the cushion covers with some pop up colors...tht shud give a nice makeover.. suggestions?

Hi Varun. I would suggest going for a new structure for Sofa instead of using this one. Two reasons: 1. The amount of work that will go in to remodel this will not be worth it. 2. The Teak would pieces which have a beautiful design on the posts/legs can be used for table legs etc. instead. Why waste it in concealing in the sofa. Usually for hidden part of Sofa Meranti Wood is good enough. You could use some of the wood from this sofa to make the new one.
