Need Help in Furniture Layout

I have renovated my house and need help in furniture layout. I have attached the plan. I need only two bedrooms, one for myself which is the bigger one and the smaller one for my parents. Also note that I am Working Single Female - 37 and my parents stay with me on and off. So I do not have many guests coming over so the utilization of living/drawing/family room is minimal. Do let me know if I can provide more inputs for better understanding of Lifestyle or my requirements.

Civil work is already going on. So can make small changes in the plan but not major.

Lostinwoods, Covering the holes should not be a problem with a small dab of painters putty. If you are lucky or have planned enough the frames may cover the area left behind by hanger or clock. IMO, you should use colored photos with white frames as the room seems a bit dark as described by you. You may need some focus lights for the frames. Have a look at some of these photos. Wonder,

It will be better if the current space between the two rooms is converted to a bedroom. The existing smaller bedroom could be a dining area with kitchen.

Thanks for your suggestions Sir. There are columns in between which doesn't let kitchen and dining happen as per your suggestion..Also we have installed the kitchen platform so cant remove that wall.
