Go for a partition with storage with jaali for looks as well as ventilation

The best way to separate you rooms is to use lattice dividers or display units. It work as a beautiful focal point in an open floor plan while creating private nooks. A see-through display unit acts as a divider and allows one to showcase exotic souvenirs, and accent pieces.

Another option is to use curtains on the left side in such a way that the dining gets hidden.

Or, Mix up furniture a bit. Use sofas in the living room as a separation that contrast beautifully with the crisp, modern dining set.

A good loose partition will be ideal for you as it will not disturb the cove ceiling that you have and also it can be easily procured.
