Looks like you are in a warm climate, but I would avoid bold textures like palms and philodendron. Even a simple row of bamboo would be refined and would screen the industrial look beyond. Hello there, If you're thinking of glass, go for an ACP in mirror finish. It's easier to install. Put 2-3 shades of mirrored finish and create a geomteric pattern on the ceiling. Put some pendant lights and you're good to go. Second, to cover up the grill use a cladding (ACP/ Wood) for framing the window and put a good netural white toned sheer curtain for diffused lighting. You can cover the balcony with grills and put a pigeon mesh which is easily available in the market. paint the balcony to your taste and put some hanging pots and cane swing or do some low sitting arrangement with mattresses and cushions.

Suchitha, Your ask of no compromise on sunlight/ air circulation loss and at same time checking insects/dust is not very feasible. Pigeon net in transparent threads the best bet to check pigeons. Glass and ACP panelling will check insects, dust etc but cut down air circulation. Transparent blinds would require a lot of attention and not a foolproof solution.
