Living Room Design Dilemma Furniture

Help needed fr Small Living Room Ideas photos

Living room is of 11 * 15 Sq ft area .and common bathroom door is in the corner . I didnt had photos .I took screenshot from video that I made .please advise how can I decorate /utlise the space nicely .5th photo is the corridor infront of kitchen and if u walk ahead your right side ll be the living room .living room is inbetween corridor and kitchen as shown in photograph.

OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Hey Amit, Living areas need an clean flow of foot traffic. keeping it near the balcony would be ideal. that be default leaves the centre of all the door opening to be your dining area. To make the best of the space you will need modular and multipurpose furniture. This is something a trained designer will be able to help you with better. While DIY is an ambitious goal. Hey Amit, Since the Living Room is almost like Grand Central Station, (Or Dadar, if you look closer home) it is necessary to optimize the foot traffic to avoid problems. It would be ideal to create the living area near the window and dining area near all the doors. A window seat or a bench could go along way to increase seating space. One thing you need to look for in your designer or furniture for this space is to find multipurpose smart furniture. It will help you bring about the maximum space utilization. I hope this helps. For the dining room, I think I'd orient the table 90 degrees from how it's drawn, and I would make it a drop leaf or gateleg table so that it can be made smaller when not being used for dining. I would embrace the idea that the entry is right in the middle of the living room, and bring the living room furniture out towards the fireplace so the fireplace is connected to the seating area. Maybe TV above fireplace. In that back corner where the sofa is drawn, I'd make that a small work/office space.

Hi!

There are a few sure shot ways to create an illusion of space.
1. Light colours
2. mirrors
3. accent wall
4. vertical lines add height to a room
5. horizontal lines add width
To actually increase the functionality of the space, you can look at multipurpose furniture that can be moved and opened or closed to achieve the desired area composition

Keep in mind to buy or make furniture that looks spacious in proportion to the room.
