Hi.. While designing the kitchen and dining we forgot to create a place for our microwave and now none of the place looks fit for it.
Can someone please suggest as on where would be the idea place to place the microwave..

the easiest solution would be to fix a shelf of the desired depth on the wall about 9 to 12 inches above the counter, close to a 16A power socket. it allows ventilation, and doesn't clutter up your counter top. you can install the shelf with strong metal brackets
Anindita, Please mention the size of your microwave. One option is to reduce the size of the doors of the cabinet above island and use the carcass for the oven.
Within the microwave is another option .
Hope the 15 amp wiring is available for the same.

Thanks for your suggestion but the size of the cupboards are actually small compared to the width of the microwave..
What was the other option which you suggested ?
Do you mean depth of microwave is more than the wall unit.
Second option was within the island counter.
It would be better if you can measure the microwave and also provide the 2d drawing of the kitchen as provided by your designer.
You could utilize the shelf space but I am guessing that's really small. Second, you could get L-Shape brackets and place the oven on that wall as shown, provided there is electric supply and possibility of a plug point. Lastly what's the opposite wall. probably if there is space.
Personally, I would place the L shaped brackets and since there is light supply in those shelf cabinets I would try to use those lines to pull up 2.5mm wires and pull it from inside the cabinet next to those shelves, or underneath for an invisible seamless finish.
