kitchen counter spacing
Comments (1)You should have a minimum of 18" between countertop and the bottom of the upper cabinets to allow for appliances as well as enough clearance for food prep. Base cabinets will end up with a height around 36"ht with the countertop. Bar height is usually around 42". Upper cabinets can be 30" in height or taller depending on your ceiling height and whether or not you are taking them up to a ceiling or soffit. Make sure to adjust for crown moulding on the cabinets or wall....See MoreSuggest something more intersesting for this kitchen

Hmmm....there is a good start. ;)...See MoreNeed help with kitchen wall tiles

Asking blind strangers to direct you isn't sensible....See MoreHow do you store your spices?
Comments (3)I moved to India in 2008 and had to relearn how to store food safely. These airtight plastic containers keep insects and humidity (mould/fungus) out of my dhals and spices. India cooking requires larger spice containers than shown in the above pictures. You can also get this same type of container in smaller sizes. Nice to have all of them in the same colour!! Makes the cupboard look tidy....See Morewilson853
