I think the yellow and grey might bring out the gold-ish-ness of the couch.. I'd try to go with more blue colors.. Maybe some navy pillows and a rug with the blue in it as well. The curtains, that ying-yang rug, and the lilac rug just gotta go.. They're dwarfing all the sophistication this room will be able to have with that tile floor and those big beautiful windows. I love the dining room chairs!

HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)

Your setting is good but could be better.the centre table is a misfit.you can use 2 level rectangular table either white poly paint one level and the other level glass or black paint or poly paint.keep the length of the table after leaving approx 16 to 18"on either side.the width can be20-22 " and ht 16".the cushions can be change to black and white design,with a dash of red.a nice rug with grey,black and white geometric design will enhance the effect.brown does not go well with white.i hope this should solve your problem.once you make this change.you eye will pick up the other flaws.

Hi...I feel there is a difference in the reference images that you have shared and the paint shades that you have selected. The walls in the ref images have greyish undertones whereas the selected paint shades are yellowish. But yes, from the ones that you have narrowed down, Daybreak looks like a good option. But to be sure, do a patch test on the wall before you go ahead with it because with Daybreak you may not get the same outcome as your reference images.
