First move the chair that is sitting beside the sofa so that it faces the other chair, get a rug with some color or texture or both. Some art work on the walls a larger coffee table. Take the clock off the wall, mount the speakers and get rid of that thing under the T.V. and lower the T.V. so the center of the screen is at eye level when you are sitting. put a low cabinet below for any stuff you need. Hi Ankur, I don't think hanging anything over the db is a good idea since there is no breathable space behind the door. the only available space would be equal to the size of the door stopper. Keeping this in mind the shelves would either be too narrow or the door would hit against the shelves perpetually. I would suggest go for a pvc shutter for the db and cover the wall and the db shutter with wallpaper keeping in mind that the shutter should be open able. We had a similar problem at a site and decided to just paint a mural over the shutter. Here are a few images to elaborate that. Regards, RnD Atelier Nagpur
