Design Dilemma Dining Room Living Room

Need suggestions for living room layout.

Where should the TV Unit be?
What should be the sofa size if we don't want the living room look too cluttered?
Where should the dining table be?
Should I get hydraulic dining table?
Should I get round or rectangular dining table if there are 4 members?

Hi Ajinkya You have a very beatiful houe plan or layout. Realy. Thoe big windows... wow. Although I am not an architect or interior designer, i requeast you to not fill your house with false ceiling, TV panel wall or any that kind thing showed in 3D . I realy like your house as it shows in photos. Just pop it up with colours. You can open your kitchen with the hall by breackng the wall in half, so the kitchen counter cannot be seen but open the kitchen's upper part. dining as you like, rectengular is easy to any set up, but you can try the square one. It is easy to use if it near to kitchen. TV should placed with simple furniture style cabinet. you can see small budget big makeover seson 2's smita and her sister hall makeover.

Hi Ajinkya,. you have a fairly straightforward and neat plan. I will suggest the TV position on the wall adjacent to the door in living area. Never have TV opposite a window since glare can disrupt viewing quality. Dining can be tucked at the corner where dining area is mentioned with a nice concole unit which can have crockery storage etc. and top of the console can have accessories and a painting flanked with bracket lights. avoid hydraulic table since it looks ugly and boxy on the wall. Get a chic and elegant rectangular table with a chandelier or hanging lights. Sofa can be 6' approx. Get a single 6' long sofa with a day bed adjacent to it so that you can move as you want. get a nice sleek center table with a rug in the center. TV unit can be designed and will become a feature of your home since it's getting an entire wall. some examples of our work and Pinterest options are below.

Priyanka, Wallpaper on doors is not a good idea. You can go for laminate panelling on the wall and matching laminates on the doors. You can choose a veneer as well. The space is too wide for a single door though. You will have to plan accordingly. I am assuming you are talking about the brown door and not the other black door in picture. Since the sofa is of darker shade go for a light shade of area rug/ carpet. Look for low pile carpet which are easy to clean....do not go in for the fluff ones. Buy a carpet big enough to cover the sitting area....at least 8*10. Make sure the front legs of the sofa comes on the carpet....place a large coffee table or even two medium size u can combine and place together. You can add two nice comfy chairs opposite the sofa to add more seating. Some nice pop of colour.
