Hi Steven, unfortunately this product cannot be paired with wooden decks. This product is to only be embedded in concrete, asphalt or mortar (for under pavers). The embedding step helps evenly distribute the heat and prevent the heating cable from overheating and becoming damaged. Hope you find something that works for your deck though!
